On March 14, 2020 I began an improvised music series called "With Love." Over the course of 2 months I created roughly 60 improvised sessions, with a run time around 13 hours. The goal of those sessions was to let the music flow and let the recording be an honest reflection of music in progress. Looking back now, it was a great experience that really helped me break through some "go to" tendencies I have when writing new music, whether that be chords, effects, or performance.

I used many of those sessions as starting off points for collaborations with friends during those early days of lockdown. The idea was to have people just play and express themselves however the music moved them to. Some chose to drastically change the forms of the piece I sent, others simply picked up an acoustic instrument, played along and sent it back. That's where the magic came in. All these audio postcards capture not only a moment in time but elements of each contributors personality. I am honored to have been able to provide the ambient background to showcase their talent and more honored to call them friends.

I selected a few collaborations and had my dear friend Justin mix them. They are presented here for you to enjoy. Thank you.
